Attention: Veterans and music lovers of all ages! The Giles Arts Council and the Rich Creek-Giles Breakfast Branch Lions Club invite you to come and enjoy a free concert presented by the US Air Force Heritage of America Rhythm in Blue Jazz Ensemble Sunday, February 26 at 3:00p.m. at Giles High School. Support these men and women in uniform while spending a delightful music filled afternoon!

Virginia Hunter Education basic classroom course will be held on March 3, 2012 from 9:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. and Saturday, March 4, 2012 fro m1:00 to 4:30p.m. at the American Legion Building in Pembroke. Instructor will be Mark Allamong. First-time hunters and hunters 12 to 15 years of age are required to complete the hunter education course before buying a hunting license and to present the course completion certificate when the license is purchased.
