During Lent, the Giles County Christian
Ministerial Association will host their Wednesday noon
Lenten service followed by luncheon at Christ Episcopal
Church (corner of Wenonah & Tazewell). Services begin at
12:05 and end no later than 12:25. Services are
nondenominational and everyone is invited. Participating
Clergy for March 10th will be The Rev. Anne West,
Christ Episcopal, Pearisburg; March 17th The Rev.
Rob Lough, Pembroke Charge UMC; March 24th Rev.
Jack Jenkins, Staffordsville Circuit UMC; and March 31, Rev.
Doug Hyndrich, First United Methodist, Rich Creek. On Good
Friday, April 2, 7 ministers will speak 4-minute homilies.
No lunch will be served.

The Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital
Auxiliary will be hosting their jewelry sale on Thursday,
March 18th from 7:00a.m. – 7:00p.m. in the
hospital breezeway. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Lords Acre Sale meeting will be held at
the Rich Creek Methodist Church on March 15th.
There will be a pot luck dinner at 6:30 and the meeting will
follow at 7:00p.m.
